4. Orders and Payment

Placing Orders: Orders may be placed through our website, by phone, by email, or in person. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Pricing: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. We strive to ensure pricing accuracy but reserve the right to correct errors.

Payment: Payment is required at the time of order or delivery as specified. We accept payment methods including cash, e-transfer, credit cards, or other methods as communicated.

Cancellations and Refunds: Order cancellation and refund policies will be communicated at the time of purchase. Generally, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before scheduled delivery.

5. Delivery and Pickup

We offer delivery and pickup services within our service area. Delivery schedules, routes, and fees will be communicated when you place your order. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (weather, road conditions, etc.).

6. Product Quality

We take pride in providing fresh, high-quality farm products. If you are unsatisfied with any product, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

7. Use of Website

Permitted Use: You may use our website for lawful purposes related to learning about our farm, placing orders, and accessing information.

Prohibited Conduct: You may not:

  • Use our website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

Message Content: Messages may include order confirmations, delivery updates, farm news, special offers, and other farm-related information.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our services and seasonal farm activity. You may receive between 1-8 messages per month on average, with more frequent messages during peak seasons.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Allsbrook Community Farm is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by:

  • Texting STOP to our messaging number

  • Updating your communication preferences on our website

You will receive a confirmation message when you opt out. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive email communications (if you have separately opted in) or place orders.

Service Availability: SMS services are provided through our third-party provider, Textedly. Service availability depends on your mobile carrier and location. We are not responsible for messages that are delayed, undelivered, or blocked by your carrier.

Changes to SMS Services: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue SMS services at any time with or without notice.

10. Email Communications

If you opt in to receive email communications, you will receive newsletters, promotional offers, and farm updates. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

11. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers (such as payment processors, email platforms, and SMS delivery services) to facilitate our services. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers, though we select providers we believe are reputable and compliant with applicable laws.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Allsbrook Community Farm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website operation
  • Products are provided "as is" with respect to natural variations in farm produce
